About Mark

Mark is Head of Financial Institutions and is responsible for directing and leading the team as part of the wider Financial Lines strategy at Probitas 1492.

Working closely with Paul Nolan, Head of Financial Lines and Mark Smith, Head of Management Liability, Mark works to ensure a high level of service is maintained across the Financial Institutions portfolio.

Having started his career at Limit Syndicate 2000, Mark has worked for over 17 years in the London and Lloyd’s Insurance Market.  Mark has more recently held Senior Underwriter positions at Liberty Specialty Markets, Chubb and Tokio Marine HCC and brings with him a broad experience in Underwriting FI risks on a global and multi sector basis.

Mark spent four years at the University of Leicester completing a European Studies BA Hons degree, specialising in Spanish, Italian and European Politics in the 20th Century.
