About Mark

Mark, Head of Management Liability, is responsible for directing and leading the Management Liability team as part of the wider Financial Lines team at Probitas 1492; using his extensive knowledge and experience to provide cover for directors, officers, managers and business entities across the globe.

Working closely with his colleagues in the Financial Lines teams to ensure their products align, whilst sharing best practice to provide a consistently high standard of service. His appetite for Management Liability business is broad, writing both large complex risks and simple smaller risks on a lead or follow basis.

Mark started his insurance career at Aviva. He went on to hold several Senior Underwriting positions at both Chubb and AIG, including product leadership for Commercial Crime, D&O and associated lines. Before joining Probitas in 2018, Mark was Portfolio Manager, Commercial Financial Lines at QBE.

With over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Lines market, Mark brings broad territorial experience and product expertise to the syndicate, adding value by enhancing the syndicates offering through D&O, Crime, Pension Trustees Liability, Employment Practice Liability and Public Offering of Securities Indemnity.
