As an Underwriting Assistant, Mauricio assists the LatAm underwriting team in Mexico, supporting them to give an outstanding underwriting service and deliver on their objectives.   

Mauricio contributes to the team’s disciplined approach to underwriting and provides actuarial support.  

With over 5 years of experience working for retail brokers, including AON, Lockton and WTW, Mauricio has a wealth of experience as an account executive administrating P&C global programs and local policies.  

Mauricio studied Actuarial Science at UNAM (Universidad Autonoma de México) and has a master’s degree in insurance risk management from UCAM (Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia). He has also taught  Insurance Theory, Reinsurance, and Financial Mathematics, among other topics, at UNAM.
