Probitas 1492 appoints Mark Smith as Senior Underwriter, Management Liability

Probitas 1492 announced today that Mark Smith has joined their Financial Lines team as Senior Underwriter for Management Liability.

Mark joins the Financial Lines team at Probitas, where he will take responsibility for the syndicate’s Management Liability portfolio.

Mark joins from QBE where he was Portfolio Manager for the Commercial Financial Lines Portfolio with responsibility for the Management Liability and Kidnap & Ransom lines, in the UK and international markets.

Mark has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Lines Market having started his career at Aviva. He then went onto to hold several Senior Underwriting positions at both Chubb and AIG, including product leadership responsibility for both Commercial Crime and D&O. Mark has broad territorial experience which is aligned fully with the ambitions of Probitas 1492
