About Matthew

Matthew, Senior Underwriter for International Property, supports Robbie Hubbard on delivering their robust underwriting strategy for the international market. Working predominately form the Lloyd’s Box, he has built strong relationships in the market.

Matthew is focused on providing a high level of service alongside exemplary worldwide cover across a range of territories. Leading large complex risks or participating as co-insurer with other market participants. The International Property team offer primary, excess and full value placements across 5 continents (excluding the USA).

Matthew started his career in 2008, working in the International Property division at Talbot Underwriting. He relocated to Dubai in 2010, where he managed the Property and Political Violence portfolios. After four years in the Middle East, he returned to London and continued to work for Talbot Underwriting at Lloyd’s. Matthew joined the Probitas team in May 2017.
