About George

As Pricing Actuary, George is responsible for actuarial pricing of long-tail classes; CasualtyFinancial Lines and Cyber & Technology. He is tasked with developing and calibrating pricing models and individual account pricing.

George joined Probitas from Munich Re Syndicate, where he worked across a mix of marine and speciality classes. Most notably, George led the pricing of the rapidly growing Cyber book, consisting of both large Open Market risks and Delegated Authority SME accounts. Having started his career at the Government Actuary’s Department, where he embarked on his journey into pricing of the Risk Protection Arrangement, a self-insurance multi-class programme for academies supported by the Department for Education, he then entered the GI market at AXA UK Commercial, delivering the first pricing model for the Management Liability Product.

George is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and has a Master of Mathematics degree from The University of Manchester.
