About Durgesh

As Head of Analytics, Durgesh holds leadership and functional responsibility for all aspects of pricing and analytics across Probitas, reporting directly to, and working closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer, Antony Dodson. He is also a member of the underwriting executive committee and finance & investment committee.

Durgesh enjoys working closely with the underwriters and providing actuarial support to aid decision making, be that on individual accounts all the way up to strategic planning. As a founding member of the analytics practice within the syndicate, he continues to provide support for all aspects of pricing and analytics, providing leadership and oversight of the function, whilst ensuring the analytics team provide a clear, concise and accurate message.

Durgesh joined Probitas 1492 not long after the syndicate commenced trading, as Pricing Manager, where he supported the build-out of the analytics and pricing function. Prior to this, he spent eleven years at QBE, where he was Senior Pricing Analyst and was responsible for pricing, rating model development and business planning for the Casualty and Financial Lines business classes.
